The heat is coming and with it comes the desire to eat lighter dishes and thus be able to better cope with the high temperatures of this hot season.
It is for this very reason that we also opt for cooler, less full-bodied wines to accompany this type of cuisine. Opting for a rosé wine has become a fashionable trend.
For this reason, this year Clos Pons has launched our Jan Rose wine on the market. This wine joins the range of Jan Blanc and Jan Petit, thus expanding the family of our youngest wines.
Jan Rosé 2022 is made with the varieties Garnacha Tinta and Syrah from the Clos Pons vineyards in L´Albagés at an altitude of 500 metres.
Delicate, fresh and persistent wine. A pale, salmon-coloured rosé dominated by aromatic notes of strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant.
Ripe palate and sweet entry make it a balanced wine between the density of the Garnacha Tinta and the fruit of the Syrah.
The first wine with the Vegan qualification of our winery, it opens the way for the rest of Clos Pons wines to be incorporated in future vintages to obtain this seal, which is becoming more and more frequent in wines.
We welcome Jan Rosé 2022, which we are sure will bring much joy to our winery.
