INGREDIENTS

 115 g Chocolate (min. 70% cocoa)
 1 “Golden” apple
 70 g Spelt flour
 30 g Powdered cocoa
 1 A pinch of salt
 3 Eggs
 160 g Cane sugar
Pairings:

ELABORATION

1

Peel and cut the golden delicious apple into little dice and scald it in boiling water for 1 minute.

2

Drain the apple, allow to cool and set aside.

3

In a recipient, beat the eggs and cane sugar with a whisk until the mixture doubles in size.

4

Melt the chocolate in a Maria bath, making sure no water at all gets in.

5

You can also melt the chocolate in the microwave, making sure not to burn it.

6

Once the chocolate has melted, wait for it to cool to 30 ºC and gradually stir in the Pons Selección Familiar Organic until the two elements blend together.

7

Pour the mixture of chocolate and Pons Selección Familiar Organic in the bowl of eggs and sugar previously prepared.

8

Stir the mixture.

9

Sift the flour with the chocolate, add the salt and set aside.

10

Add the sifted flour and pinch of salt progressively while delicately stirring with the whisk to blend to mixture.

11

Add the diced apple and stir in delicately.

12

Layer an oven pan with baking paper and add the brownie batter.

13

To spread the brownie batter in a smooth and homogeneous way in the oven pan, use a spatula or spoon to help.

14

The batter in the pan should be about 2 cm deep (the size of the oven pan must be chosen well).

15

Put the pan in the preheated oven for 20-22 minutes at 180 ºC.

16

To know whether or not the brownie batter is cooked, stick in a toothpick that should come out damp but clean.

17

Allow to cool and cut into portions.
