L’Albagés, June 29, 2024 – The iconic estate Clos Pons became yesterday the stage for a Wild West-themed experience, hosting the PONS 2024 Gastronomic Festival. Amidst olive groves and vineyards, the estate gathered over five hundred people for an evening highlighted by the fusion of haute cuisine, quality entertainment, and spectacular panoramic views.
The festival opened with helicopter flights over the vast plantations of the estate, offering attendees an unparalleled aerial perspective of the natural and cultural heritage of Clos Pons in Les Garrigues. This unique experience allowed participants to enjoy a singular landscape, appreciating the beauty of the territory from the air.
Inspired by the Wild West ambiance, the festival showcased a gastronomic offering that paired PONS’s exquisite oils and wines with dishes inspired by the American pioneer era. Delights such as freshly smoked ribs, assortments of cheeses and ham, truffle popcorn, and fairground cotton candy were part of a memorable culinary experience.
The idyllic setting of Clos Pons, with its impressive cellar and mill, provided the perfect backdrop for the evening. Attendees enjoyed unique pairings, where elegant wines and characterful oils harmoniously converged, creating flavors that captivated every palate present.
